Ball Valve

1. Ball Valve:

Ball valves are widely used in industries such as petroleum refining, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, water conservancy, and more. Featuring a ball with a circular hole as the opening and closing element, the valve operates by rotating the ball 90° around the valve stem, allowing precise control over the flow of various mediums like water, steam, oil, natural gas, and chemicals. Known for their compact structure, ball valves offer reliable sealing, resistance to flush erosion, and minimal maintenance, making them an ideal choice for both corrosive and non-corrosive environments.

Designed for strength, safety, and durability, ball valves are suited for harsh environments and extreme conditions. Their versatile material options ensure compatibility with a broad range of applications, providing secure and efficient flow control. The ball valve’s simple operation and reliable performance make it an essential component in industries requiring high precision, like long-distance transportation pipelines, power generation, and steel manufacturing, where efficient flow control is critical.

2. Butterfly Valve:

Butterfly valves are widely used in various industries such as water treatment, chemical processing and power generation. These valves use a disc or vane as the opening and closing element, which is rotated 90° by the valve stem to regulate flow. Their simple design allows for lightweight construction and easy installation. Butterfly valves are ideal for controlling large volumes of liquids, gases, and slurries, offering reliable shut-off and flow regulation with minimal space requirements.

Known for their efficiency and cost-effectiveness, butterfly valves are available in a variety of materials to suit different applications, from non-corrosive mediums to highly abrasive or aggressive substances. Their reliable sealing, compact design, and ease of operation make them suitable for applications where quick, precise control and minimal maintenance are essential.

3. Gate Valve:

Gate valves are used to cut off the flow of medium in pipelines, featuring a flashboard that moves perpendicular to the fluid flow. When fully open, they provide a straight-through passage, minimizing pressure loss. These valves are designed for infrequent use, supporting fully open or fully closed positions, and are not suitable for throttling or flow regulation.

Available in various types like wedge and plate gate valves, they are made from different materials to transport water, steam, oil, natural gas, and chemicals. Gate valves offer reliable shut-off performance and are commonly used in industries where efficient, on/off control is required.

4. Globe Valve:

Globe valve is designed with a closing part that moves in a linear motion along the center line of the valve seat. The valve’s short opening and closing stroke, combined with its reliable shut-off function, make it ideal for precise flow regulation. The valve’s design allows for a proportional change in the valve seat orifice and the stroke of the valve clack, making it especially effective for throttling applications.

Globe valves are versatile and can be used for both flow regulation and shut-off in a variety of fluid pipelines. They are commonly found in industries such as city water systems, sewage treatment, construction, food processing, power generation, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, and textiles. Their ability to provide accurate control over fluid flow makes them an essential component in many applications.

5. Non Return Valve (NRV):

A check valve, also known as a one-way valve or non-return valve, is an automatic valve designed to prevent backflow of medium in a pipeline. The opening and closing mechanism of the valve operates automatically, driven by the flow and force of the medium, ensuring that the flow occurs in only one direction. This function is essential for preventing accidents and maintaining the integrity of the system. Check valves are mainly used in pipelines where the medium flows in one direction, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

6. Stainer:

A strainer is an essential device in medium transportation pipelines, typically installed at the input end of pressure-reducing valves, pressure release valves, level control valves, or other equipment. It plays a critical role in filtering out impurities in the medium, such as rust, sand, small solid particles in liquids, and other contaminants, ensuring the normal operation of valves and equipment.

The strainer works by directing fluid through a cartridge equipped with a strainer screen. Impurities are trapped by the screen, while clean fluid is allowed to flow through the outlet. For cleaning, the removable cartridge can be easily taken out, cleaned, and reinstalled, ensuring continuous, efficient operation without the need for extensive maintenance.
